MacArthur Park Public Meeting

The City of La Mesa Community Services Commission will be hosting a public meeting on August 9, at 6:00 p.m. at the La Mesa Community Center, 4975 Memorial Drive, to receive input from the community about proposed uses for the parkland at MacArthur Park, including what was formerly operated as the Sun Valley Golf Course. The meeting will identify a draft design for the short term uses for the park with proposed repurposing of the former golf course space, including a jogging/running trail, new access points and additional possible amenities such as a 9-hole recreational disc golf course, a dog park and a community garden.
