Come Meet the La Mesa Veterans Club – Post 282 on Monday, June 17th at a Ribbon Cutting & Mixer

We invite you to join us and welcome our new member, the La Mesa Veterans Club to our chamber.  You may know this group of dedicated folks as the American Legion or other names as their building sits at 8118 University Avenue with the gun outside of their building. This new name reflects the inclusion of all who have served and their efforts to continue to support projects such as Wreaths Across America, La Mesa Flag Day Parade, placing flags on graves of veterans each Memorial Day, and working with youth through American Legion baseball and other projects. Let’s get together and mix and mingle at the La Mesa Veterans Club on Monday, June 17th.  

The Club is so excited to be a part of this ribbon cutting celebration, they are offering (1) free drink ticket and (1) free raffle ticket to the first 75 people that RSVP. These two gifts are sponsored by the La Mesa Veterans Club ad our chamber member, Feeding the Flock, who used the kitchen to prepare meals for members of the community. So don’t be left out – RSVP TODAY to receive these two free tickets when you join us on June 17th. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. and will end at 7:00 p.m. The “official” ribbon cutting will take place at 6 p.m. 

Take a tour of this facility and learn about these dedicated men and women who produce weekly food related events, help veterans and others within our community. The Chamber will host a raffle and other surprises as well. Be sure to make plans to join us and bring your business cards while you mix and mingle. The evening cost is: FREE to ALL La Mesa Chamber Members, Guests - $15 per person and At-Door Fee - $25 per person.
