La Mesa 11th Annual Park Appreciation Day
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO BEAUTIFY SEVEN PARKS
LA MESA, CA – The City of La Mesa invites community members to roll up their sleeves and join us for Park Appreciation Day on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This annual event is a chance for residents to come together and help enhance several of our local parks through various volunteer activities such as painting, mulching, weeding, planting, and trimming.
Parks needing volunteers:
- Collier Park – 4401 Palm Avenue
- Community Garden – 5080 Memorial Drive
- Harry Griffen Park – 9550 Milden Street
- Junior Seau Sports Complex – 9011 Park Plaza Drive
- La Mesita Park – 8855 Dallas Street
- MacArthur Park – 4975 Memorial Drive
- Vista La Mesa Park – 3955 King Street
