Free Yoga Class

Yoga Rascals is partnering with La Mesa Community Services on Tuesday, June 21^st to offer free yoga classes in celebration of International Day of Yoga. Kids will enjoy a one hour yoga adventure from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., followed by a Family Yoga Party from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.  Both classes are held in Nan Couts Cottage. Reservations are required and can be made at http://www.yogarascals.com.
 
“We have been serving families in the La Mesa and San Diego area for almost a decade,” says Yoga Rascals founder Sünje O’Clancy. “We are very excited to celebrate this special day with free classes so everyone can experience and enjoy the wonderful effects of yoga in a fun and relaxed environment.”
 
In 2014 the General Assembly of the United Nations declared June 21 as “International Day of Yoga” to recognize “the holistic benefits of this timeless practice and its inherent compatibility with the principles and values of the United Nations.”  (Ban Ki-Moon, United Nations Secretary-General)  Since its inauguration last year special events are being held throughout the United States and many countries worldwide.
